The project began in 2024 and spans 1,380 hectares, with annual application of rock powder to croplands, including sugarcane and citrus.
Participants will visit operational fields to observe how ERW is integrated into large-scale agriculture, improving soil health while enabling carbon sequestration. The experience can also include a visit to Mineradora Barbarense, the source of the rock powder, providing a rare end-to-end view of the process – from extraction at the quarry to field application.
