Visit to Courageous Land Project
Courageous Land offers a compact yet highly strategic demonstration of integrated land-use systems, combining agroforestry, timber production, a native seedling nursery, and regenerative agriculture across a 50-hectare property, with 10 hectares already planted.
In Valença (Bahia), Courageous Land coordinates Sucupira Farm, a leading reference in agroforestry in Brazil, combining regenerative agriculture with timber production across 82 hectares, 60 of which are already planted.
The project integrates coffee, cocoa, açaí, and black pepper with native and exotic timber species in diversified, multistrata systems that mimic natural forest dynamics. This approach enhances both ecological resilience and long-term productivity.
With over 15 years of experience, Sucupira has played a key role in shaping agroforestry practices in Brazil, offering investors a proven model that successfully aligns environmental restoration with consistent economic returns.
