It is always difficult to pick the right places when visiting a new destination as it seems time is never enough. Brazil is a huge country, so we put together the experiences not to be missed if you are a first timer in Brazil.

The Amazon Rainforest is always under the spotlights due to its importance to the world’s climate. The best way to contribute to the Amazon conservation is by visiting it. Plus, you will have an extraordinary experience in the jungle lodges (or small cruises) with their daily activities, offering interaction with the local community and a true immersion in nature.

Known to be the largest sequence of waterfalls in the world, the impressive Iguazu Falls is a must-see while in Brazil. And, if you happen to be there on a full moon, you will experience the amazing moonbow (a night rainbow). Make sure you visit both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides for a more complete overview, as well join other attractions such as the Bird Park rescue and conservation center, the Sendero Macuco trail leading to a hidden waterfall, a boat ride up to the Devil’s Throat and a helicopter flight is the cherry on top.

Last but not least, the place that comes to everyone’s mind when we talk about Brazil – Rio de Janeiro. You will most certainly feel the laid-back atmosphere, soak up the sunny days at the beach and visit the main attractions like the Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer, but be open to dive deeper into Rio’s culture and live the city as a local.
